Protest This

Reuters:

An Iranian woman walks past an anti-U.S. poster during a visit to a war museum in the city of Khorramshahr, 1350 km (844 miles) southwest of Tehran in Khoozestan province, March 14, 2007. Iranians visit the main battlegrounds of the Iran-Iraq war (1980-88) during the last week of the Iranian calendar to remember those who died.

Which of us, Iran or the United States, has the moral high ground? Do you hear George Bush proclaiming "Death to Iran"? Do out elected representatives call for "Death to" any country, or regime? The closest Bush has come is asking for Osama bin Laden "Dead or Alive," hardly a vitriolic statement.

The picture above, along with many others, are commonly found in Iran and North Korea. After 9/11, Muslims danced in the streets. After the devastating earthquake in Bam, Iran, the United States donated $10.5 million dollars toward relief efforts. No Americans were reported to dance in the streets.
