Zawahiri: Bush is a drunk
ABC News:
Al Qaeda's Second-in-Command Unleashes 40-Minute Rant Against President Bush
Feb. 12, 2007 — The latest taped statement from al Qaeda is an unusually personal attack on President Bush, in which al Qaeda's No. 2 in command, Ayman al Zawahiri, denounces Bush as "an alcoholic, liar and gambler with an addictive personality."
He sounds desperate. From listening to him, you would think Zawahiri spent a night on the town with Bush, lost a game of poker, and maybe a beer pong tournament against Bush.
Besides, Bush might be a brash, inarticulate fool, who struggled with alcohol (and possibly cocaine) in the past, but he's our brash, inarticulate fool. If Zawahiri wants to start name calling, he should first crawl out of his cave, dust off his tattered robes, remove the insect carcasses from his brittle teeth, and unshackle his wives. Then he can talk.
