You Go To War With The Media You Have

BlackFive's question: D-Day - What If the Greatest Generation were stuck with our generation's media? is very apropos, given the current situation our media finds itself in.

What situation, you ask?

A situation, or an instance, when a news organization such as the Associated Press cannot even recognize the heroism of its own employees.

It's no wonder TCS Daily says:

The days of the independent, neutral war correspondent, objectively reporting from a war's front lines, are quickly coming to an end.

Given the AP's malfeasance, who wants to be an impartial journalist if you can't get credit for dying while protecting your family?
